Editions

Eagle Eye networks offers three editions to align the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS (Video Management System) with your organization’s size and surveillance needs. Larger organizations need additional management tools to streamline their security system. Eagle Eye Networks developed added features to benefit operations with multiple locations, many cameras, a large number of users, regulatory requirements, and other complex needs. The edition involve the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS platform as well and some endpoints are not accessible if the account does not have the right edition. When integrating the Eagle Eye Video API Platform it is required to verify the system edition and if the API endpoints are available in the edition of the end user account.

Checking the existing edition

The editions available in general can be obtained with the API V3 Editions endpoint: /editions. To get the actual edition for the logged-in account call /accounts/self.
